Hays Farm is a master-planned community in South Huntsville featuring over 500 single-family homes, 600 multifamily units, a premier office park, a 9.5-acre urban park surrounded by retail, a 440-acre nature preserve, 8-miles of hard-surface greenway walking trails (including the 2.5 mile Elgie’s Walk Greenway, the first segment of Greenway for the Singing River Trail), a Publix-anchored grocery center, and more. The outdoor amenities, combined with the convenience of nearby retail, will create an extraordinary living setting.
Goodall Homes is the exclusive single-family home builder for the more than 500 single-family homes at Hays Farm. With an estimated timeframe of three to five years, Goodall Homes will begin selling and constructing homes in Hays Farm’s three neighborhoods The Forge, The Forest, and The Fields in January 2021. Each neighborhood offers a variety of square footage, layout, and price range options.

The Market at Hays Farm, which is being developed by Branch Properties, will be a 150,000 square foot shopping center anchored by Publix and Staples. Tom Brown’s Restaurant, a local steak and seafood restaurant, will open a 6,000-square-foot second location at The Market at Hays Farm in Fall 2021. The Market will also include a curated array of national, regional, and local shops.
“The 850-acre Hays Farm development provides South Huntsville much-needed retail, restaurant, multifamily and single-family homes,” said Bekah Schmidt, Executive Director for South Huntsville Main Business Association. “We look forward to seeing the development around the park begin to come out of the ground and meet the needs of our growing community. We want to thank the City of Huntsville for their investment, as well as the Hays family for their generosity.”
